Appalachian Trail: One of 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States. It’s ~2,190 miles long. Its northern terminus is the summit of Mt. Katahdin in Baxter State Park, Maine. Its southern terminus is on the summit of Springer Mountain in northern Georgia. Thru-hiked in 2003, 2015 and 2018.

Pacific Crest Trail: One of 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States. It’s ~2,600 miles long. Its northern terminus is at the Canadian border in Washington. Its southern terminus is on the Mexican border near Campo, California. Thru-hiked in 2005, 2013 and 2018.

Continental Divide Trail:  One of 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States. It’s ~3,000 miles long. Its northern terminus is at the Canadian border in Glacier National Park, Montana. Its southern terminus is on the Mexican border in New Mexico. Thru-hiked in 2006, 2017 and 2018.

Arizona Trail: One of 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States. It’s ~800 miles long. Its northern terminus is at the Utah/Arizona border. Its southern terminus is on the Mexican border near Montezuma Pass, Arizona. Thru-hiked in 2016.

John Muir Trail: 211 mile long trail that runs from the summit of Mt. Whitney to Yosemite Valley through the high Sierra. It is coincident with the Pacific Crest Trail for most of its length. Thru-hiked in 2005, completed 160 miles in 2014.

Oregon Desert Trail: ~750 mile long unmarked route across eastern Oregon from Bend to Lake Owyhee. Thru-hiked in 2017.
